Most of the flagship smartphones being sold nowadays come with a dual camera system that helps to take better pictures. One brand that created its own path was Huawei when it launched the P20 Pro with three rear shooters. In our review, we found that the camera did an excellent job and performed flawlessly.

In what is now appearing to be a trend, an analyst from KB Securities, Kim Dong-won states that Samsung, which has had a lower-than-expected demand for its latest Galaxy S9 lineup, will consider equipping its next premium phone with triple cameras and a 3-D sensor to reinvigorate its smartphone business.

He went on to claim that the next generation iPhone will have a triple camera system as well to attract consumers. As of now, it is not known if all of Apple’s upcoming smartphones will have a triple camera setup, but in all probability, it will be the yet to be announced larger 6.5-inch iPhone, with an OLED display and the notch for Face ID.

As for which Samsung smartphone might feature the three camera lenses, we can assume that it might launch with the next generation Galaxy S smartphone.

A recent report claimed that the Galaxy Note 9 would come with an improved camera as well. So there is a chance that the South Korean tech giant may add the three camera setup in the next Galaxy Note.

The Huawei P20 Pro comes loaded with a 40MP primary lens, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor. Huawei has gone all out while designing the P20 Pro and have launched it in the premium smartphone bracket.
