Realme 1 Solar Red colour variant launched

OPPO's new colour edition phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage.

Earlier this year, OPPO’s Realme 1 has been unveiled in India which features a 6-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The company is now debuting its new colour variant – Solar Red in the country. This comes right after its cousin company OnePlus’ OP 6 recent Red variant launch. OPPO had initially launched Diamond Black colour variant of the Realme 1 smartphone. This new Solar Red variant is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.

The only difference between the earlier launched Realme 1 is only the colour, apart from that it features the same glass fibre body on the rear with a diamond-like finish.

On the specifications front, the Realme 1 is built on a MediaTek MT6771 SoC. The smartphone features 13MP primary camera with PDAF and delivers bokeh effect as well. On the front, the phone features an 8MP selfie shooter, which also features bokeh effect. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.0 out-of-the-box and the smartphone is fuelled by a 3410mAh battery. OPPO has ditched fingerprint scanner on this device and it only relies on Face Unlock feature for authentication.

The Realme 1 supports Bluetooth 4.2 and built-in FM radio. The dual SIM-powered Solar Red variant of the Realme 1 is priced at Rs 10,990.
