Xiaomi unveils new Lake Blue' Redmi Note 4 to help the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan

Apart from the new paint job, the phone carries the standard 4GB + 64GB Redmi Note 4 specifications.

Xiaomi has unveiled a new colour for its popular smartphone offering in India — the Redmi Note 4. Called the ‘Lake Blue’ colour, the phone’s Rs 12,999 pricing will dedicate some part of it to the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. The new edition commemorates the company’s latest project of ‘Wake the lake’ campaign.

Apart from the new colour, the phone will carry the same specifications from the top-end Redmi Note 4. This means that you still get the Snapdragon 625 SoC underneath, which is aided by 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone carries a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a 13MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front camera.

The phone’s USP is its 4100mAh battery, which can easily last a day or two in optimal usage scenarios. The phone has recently started receiving the Android Nougat update, which will be followed by the latest MIUI 9 in the upcoming months.
