Essential Phone Camera app update adds major improvements to UI
When Essential launched their PH-1 phone last year, it was one of the first phones to feature a near bezel-less display. It was a beautifully designed phone, and Essential is continuing to add to it by releasing camera updates that could make it an enticing option.
Essential has recently released a Camera App update for the PH-1 via the Google Play Store and with it, one can now find it easier to see, save, and share your 360 photos or videos as a Snapshot, Pano, or Tiny Planet. They have also thrown in the ability to turn 360-degree photos into short Panoramic and Tiny Planet animations.
There are UI improvements as well and Essential has now removed the large, white box and gave it a dark, opaque overlay—so it blends in better with the viewfinder. And it now comes from the top. Apart from this, the update to the Essential Camera app also contains a few tweaks and adjustments across the board so things work smoothly.
Essential claim that the Camera app makes it simple to capture, edit and share photos using the PH-1. It includes different modes and features, like Portrait Mode, Black and White mode. And a user can share them directly with friends and family or on social media — like Facebook, Instagram and other social networks.
