Moto X4 tocome with dual cameras, 3.5mm headphone jack and water resistance
Motorola is on a launch spree this season with the new Moto G5, Moto C Plus, Moto Z2 Play and the upcoming Moto E4. It now seems that the Lenovo-led Motorola is planning to complete its line-up with the addition of another device to its portfolio that harks back to its popular old mid-range moniker – Moto X. And, we have more leaks to support the device’s imminent launch within the next few months.
Well, known tipster Evan Blass has posted a leak on his Twitter channel about the upcoming Moto X4. The smartphone is now known to featuring a dual rear camera sensor and will have IP68 water as well as dust resistance. In another report from VentureBeat, Evan has confirmed that the device will be named Moto X4 instead of Moto X 2017 and will be available in the market in the fourth quarter of 2017.
A previous leak suggested that the Moto X4 will also feature 3D curved glass. The smartphone is expected to have the Snapdragon 630 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage under the hood. The phone could be powered by a 3000mAh battery. The leaked picture also suggests the presence of the 3.5mm headphone jack along with a LED flash for the front camera.
If the leaks turn out to be true, then the Moto X4 could be placed under the Moto Z2 Play in the company’s smartphone portfolio.
