Samsung Galaxy Note 10 price surfaces

The highly sought after handset's price has been revealed ahead of its official unveiling.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has been the subject of leaks and rumours for quite a while now and though no official information about it has been made available; we have a fair idea of what to expect once it launches. Now, as per a report by GSMArena, we get a clue on what the pricing of the Galaxy Note 10 will be.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected to be priced between USD 1,100 and USD 1,200 which translates to about Rs 76,100 to Rs 83,100. These prices fall in line with the Galaxy S10 devices and there is no reason why Samsung should alter their pricing for their second flagship of 2019. As of now, the source who divulged the pricing doesn’t mention whether this price is for the 5G model or if it is for the vanilla 4G variant. Judging by the price, this could be for the standard 4G variant and not the 5G model as it can make room for the much-rumoured Galaxy Note 10e for greater segmentation. The smaller of the two Galaxy Note 10 handsets are expected to be smaller and come with few features in comparison to the bigger handset.

Apart from shedding light on the pricing, the source also has information regarding the punch-hole display. Samsung reportedly has found a way to shrink the bezel around the camera to make it more discreet. With this in mind, we can expect a punch-hole that’s smaller than that found on the Galaxy S10. The handset is also rumoured to hit shelves by around late August with it being announced earlier on in the same month.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected to look significantly different from last year’s model as it will feature a redesigned camera layout. Last year’s handset came with a horizontal camera layout, but this year’s device will feature a vertically stacked camera layout that’s similar to rival brands such as Huawei. Apart from the redesigned rear, the handset will also come with a punch-hole selfie camera up front. These are the biggest cosmetic changes that will feature in the Galaxy Note 10.

The handsets will feature a single shooter up-front and three or more rear sensors. Due to the punch-hole camera layout, Samsung will continue employing the Infinity-O display.
