Lenovo unveils K8 Plus with dual camera for Rs 10,999
Lenovo has launched its K8 Plus smartphone for the Indian market at a price of Rs 10,999. The smartphone comes with a metallic body and will be available in Venom Black and Fine Gold colour variants.
The smartphone sports 5.2-inch full-HD IPS display with 178-degree viewing angle and is powered by a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek P20 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
It comes equipped with a dual camera setup comprising of a 13MP Purcell sensor and a 5MP sensor for the depth of field. On the front panel you get an 8MP camera with 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture and a selfie flash that the company touts as the Party Flash. The front camera also supports Pro Mode, Beautify Mode, and wide angle shots. For security, the smartphone features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.
The device comes with Dolby Atmos audio enhancements, and a dedicated Music Key on the left edge; the key is also customised to launch other apps. It draws power from a 4000mAh battery that claims to deliver two days of power, with up to 13 hours of web browsing and 100 hours of music playback.
The smartphone will be sold exclusively through the e-commerce website Flipkart and will go on sale starting September 7 at 12pm IST. Consumers will also get a BuyBack guarantee for six months. The launch offer also includes a Moto Pulse 2 headphone at Rs 599 and up to Rs 10,000 discount on exchange of the old smartphone. Reliance Jio will be offering up to 30GB additional 4G data to the users.
