Nokia announces new Nokia 2.3 smartphone internationally
Nokia smartphone manufacturers HMD Global today announced its latest Nokia 2.3 smartphone at an event in Cairo, Egypt. The latest in its line of phones, the 2.3 has been promised to provide users a dedicated Google Assistant button.
Available from mid-December the device shall retail at 109 Euros as announced there, however, India prices are not known yet.
Apart from the Google Assistant button, the outer body will feature a 3D nano-textured cover, in the colours Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal meanwhile the an inner chassis of diecast aluminium. At the front, the screen is said to run 6.2-inch long with HD+ display, an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 1520x720 pixels.
At the back, it shall have a 13MP/2MP dual camera setting with flash. Talking about the camera, Nokia has claimed that it has a ‘Recommended Shot’ feature to automatically capture alternate images before and after the shutter button is pressed and suggests the best one. This is along with support for features such as Portrait and Bokeh mode and low-light imaging.
Another prominent feature of the phone is the battery, which Nokia claims will last a user for over 2 days at 4000mAh capacity.
The phone has 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM storage, which is expandable to 400 GB. With a Mediatek Helio A22 processor, the phone should receive security and OS updates till upto three and two years, respectively.
