Mi MIX 3 with MIUI 10, no chin leaks
While Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil a brand new smartphone in Spain in the next few months, which is expected to be the global unveil of Mi A2, the Mi MIX 3 has been increasingly spotted in the wild. Previos leaks had confirmed a notch-no chin design — thanks to sliding front camera setup. Now, a new leak has againshown the device in its full glory.
Leaked by Slashleaks, the Mi MIX 3 is shown running what appears to be an iteration of MIUI 10 — Xiaomi’s upcoming OS version for its devices. The device in itself is pretty similar to the one shown in the past leaks — a fullscreen display with no chin at the bottom and, most importantly, no notch on the top. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t confirm whether the sliding front camera mechanism exists or not.
The Mi MIX 3 is expected to be built around the Snapdragon 845 chip paired along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. We expect the Mi MIX 3 to be almost identical to the Mi MIX 2S, barring the new design and the display. Given Xiaomi’s previous launch schedules, the Mi MIX 3 could launch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in August, or could be delayed until the new iPhone launch event expected to be held sometime in September.
