World's first 108MP camera sensor on a smartphone to be launched by Xiaomi
It was only yesterday that companies like Realme, Redmi and Samsung were racing to deliver the first 64megapixel camera sensor on a smartphone. The competition was just heating up, and now Xiaomi has announced that they will be the first ones to adopt Samsung's 108MP ISOCELL CMOS. Yes, a 108MP sensor!
According to a very reliable leakster, Ice Universe recently tweeted that Xiaomi will adapt to Samsung's 108MP ISOCELL CMOS in their own new alleged version of Xiaomi Mi Mix 4. The tweet is embedded below, and it also states the resolution of the sensor at which users would be able to click pictures at.

The 108MP ISOCELL CMOS sensor would be a revolutionary feat among smartphone sensors as it will enable the devices to click images at a 12032 x 9024 resolutions. Size of the sensors is unlikely to be affected and mostly would remain at the standard 1/1.5-inches.
