Microsoft to roll out new features for iPhone, iPad
Microsoft had earlier announced that a handful of new features will make it to its Office suite. The Redmond based company has now rolled out inking improvements to its Office bundle for the iOS users all over the world. The new update is expected to arrive by the end of November to all users very soon. Users will now be able to work better in real time.
The company is planning to add a brand new feature called ‘digital ink’, which will be available for Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iOS devices. With the latest update, users will get an option to choose a personal set of pens and highlighters for inking. The company is planning to add metallic pen and new ink effects such as rainbow, galaxy, lava, ocean, gold, silver and others.
Microsoft says it is improving digital ink on the iOS devices with a digital pencil, “the new digital pen will enable users to sketch out ideas to make them come to live and rediscover the simple pleasure of creating content with a pen,” the company said. This new feature can be used with a supported stylus.
