Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has long been rumoured to be working on its 2017 flagship smartphone. After months of speculation, the firm has finally announced the official launch-date of its upcoming smartphone, i.e. OnePlus 5. The company has even launched a new web page that shows a countdown to the official reveal. The new web page reads, ‘Focus on what matters’ accompanied with the launch-date and time, i.e. June 20th, 12:00 EDT (17:00 BST).
A new rumour making the rounds lately suggests that the much-anticipated smartphone is set to pack a dual camera, a whooping 3,600mAh battery and will be priced way cheaper than the Apple iPhone 7. The iPhone 7, at the time of its launch, was priced at Rs 50,000.
CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau took to Twitter to announce the news as well.
Additionally, the OnePlus 5 smartphone was also recently spotted on Oppo Mart with a price $450. This price, however hasn’t been confirmed by the company as yet.
