Panasonic launches its entry level budget smartphone P100
Panasonic has launched its entry-level new budget smartphone – the P100 India. The new smartphone is powered by Duraspeed technology and will be available online, exclusively on Flipkart at a price of Rs 5999 for 2GB and Rs 5299 for 1GB starting from 8th February 2018.
P100 has a 5-inch HD 2.5D curved Display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with multi-tasking features. This smartphone is packed with 2200mAh battery and weighing 174.8 gm. This phone sports an 8MP AF rear camera and 5 MP front camera with LED flash.
Panasonic P100, both 1GB and 2GB of RAM variants, are equipped with 1.25GHz GHz Quad-Core MediaTek processor and 16 GB of ROM which is expandable up to128GB. P100 has a fingerprint sensor which lets you unlock the phone and different fingers can be used for different applications.
This phone comes with various new modes, which the company calls it ‘smart modes’ such as the ‘On Body Detection Mode’ doesn’t allow the device to sleep while it is in your hands, however it locks itself as soon as the device is away. The ‘Bluetooth Unlock Mode’ and ‘Trusted Places’ feature unlocks the device whenever it is near a Bluetooth trusted device or place like a car or home respectively. Additionally, the ‘Trusted Face Mode’ and “Trusted Voice Mode” is useful while your hands are busy cooking or working. This feature allows the user to unlock the device by just looking at the screen and run a Google search with their voice.
OTG support allows access to external data on your phone and permits to connect an external mouse or keyboard so as to enable the user to work faster. It has two SIM slots and one dedicated memory card slot and the device also supports FM.
This dual-SIM LTE powered smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0 and equipped with sensors such as ambient light, accelerometer, proximity etc.
P100 is available in four stunning colours – Blue, Black, Gold and Dark Grey.
