BlackBerry Motion with 4000mAh battery launched

The Smart Convenience Key' enables users to instantly access apps and functions that are used most often based on where they are.

Chinese smartphone maker TCL has announced the launch of BlackBerry Motion smartphone. The device is similar to company’s KEYOne smartphone, which was unveiled last year.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution protected by DragonTrail Glass. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 SoC processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. For security, the company has tucked in a fingerprint sensor on the front panel. The ‘Smart Convenience Key’ enables users to instantly access apps and functions that are used most often based on where they are.

Optics wise, the smartphone has a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-tone LED flash. It also boasts an 8MP front facing camera with a selfie flash feature. The rear camera is also capable of capturing 4K videos at 30fps.

The enw smartphone also comes with a slew of security suites that BlackBerry is known for. It includes DTEK security suite and also offers support for FIPS 140-2 Full Disk Encryption, Android For Work, and Google Play for Work features.

AndroidCentral has reported that the device will selling at a price of $460 and will be available first in the Middle East markets such as UAE and Saudi Arabia.
