The new laptops have updated designs and sport eighth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors.

HP has unveiled its revamped range of Spectre laptops in India. The Spectre comes in two different models — Spectre 13 and Spectre x360. Both the models are built around the latest eighth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and use 1TB PCIe SSD9 for storage and support up to 16 GB LPDDR3 RAM.

The Spectre 13 sports an all aluminium body with support up to 4K display with Gorilla Glass Protection. HP has placed the speakers in the thin bezels of the display. HP claims up to 11.5 hours of battery life for the Spectre 13 and charging from zero percent battery life to 50 per cent on a 30-minute charge with HP Fast Charge technology.

The Spectre x360 is a convertible laptop that becomes a tablet when folded to 360-degrees. There’s a 13-inch display with Gorilla Glass Protection and ultra-thin bezels. It comes with a built-in fingerprint sensor and an IR camera for using facial recognition to unlock the laptop. HP also bundles a pen with the Spectre x360 that supports Windows Ink apps on Windows 10.

The pricing for both the Spectre x360 and Spectre 13 haven’t been unveiled yet.
