This upcoming flagship will give iPhone 11 a serious beat-down

Samsung Galaxy S11 leaks are proving that the South Korean company won't be pulling any punches come launch time.

The Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10 and iPhone 11 smartphones are some of the best that there are. However, it appears that Samsung is preparing something truly radical with the Galaxy S11 and it will deliver a serious beat-down to all these aforementioned handsets.

The latest information comes to us via GalaxyClub.nl and they reveal that Safety Korea has just publicly certified the battery for Samsung’s Galaxy S11e, an entry-level device and it shows just how grand Samsung’s plans are.

As pre a related report by Forbes, “Codenamed EB-BG980ABY and also photographed on the site (image below), its smartphone connection is tied to the ‘G980’ part of its name. As noted by SamMobile, Samsung always ties the two together so, for example, G970 batteries were in the SM-G97xx Galaxy S10 line-up and G960 batteries were in SM-G96xx Galaxy S9 models. The Galaxy S11 series is the SM-G98xx range.”

What makes this even more interesting is that while the capacity is hidden, the rated battery capacity of 14.36W can be easily distinguished and the typical smartphone operation of 3.85 volts indicates that this could result in a 3800mAh battery. This capacity is 700mAh more than what was offered with the Galaxy S10e which was already a smartphone with great battery life.

With the Galaxy S10 and S10+ coming with 400mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively, the flagship Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11+ could feature 4000 and 5000mAh of batteries. This bump in capacity should not come as a surprise since Samsung is launching the Galaxy S10 Lite with some serious improvements to the battery over the early 2019laghsip S series handsets.

Apart from this, Samsung is also believed to be working on some revolutionary charging technology that may arrive in future devices. With this being said, 2020 appears to be a bright year for Samsung.
