Alleged iPhone 9 website leaks, reveals all colour variants
Just two days to go before Apple unveils the most awaited smartphones of 2018, yet tipsters have been trying their best to gather information on the upcoming products. While several leaks have locked down to the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and Xc monikers, there are some who are coming up with new information related to the iPhones. A new one has been caught by Slashleaks, showing the leaked website for iPhone 9.
Yes, there are still leaks that suggest the cheaper 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be christened the iPhone 9. The leaked iPhone 9 page from Apple’s website shows all the colour variants of the iPhone 9, out of which the confirmed variants are the Space Grey, Red, Spicy Orange and Cobalt Blue. There’s also a white/gold variant visible on the edge, but the name is out of the frame.
Complying with the previous leaks, the iPhone 9 flaunts a single rear camera setup, similar to the iPhone 8. It also features a glass rear panel. The button layout seems to lifted off straight from the iPhone X — a large power button on one side while the volume rocker and slider on the other end.
There’s another page shown in the leaked photos, which consists of all the iPhone models destined to be prominent this year. The iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone 9 and the iPhone 7 are seen, which probably hints towards Apple’s intention of focusing all attention on these models. Will the iPhone 7 receive an upgarde for 2018-19 with revised storage variants? We will have to wait and see.
Do take this leak with a pinch of salt though as the information could be fake, with a bright Orange colour variant raising suspicion. However, it’s evident that the cheaper model will inherit the premium features from the flagship models this year, except for the camera and an OLED panel. Apple will unveil the new iPhones on 12th September.
