ASUS has announced the launch of its Zenfone Go 5.5 for the Indian market. The device will be selling for a price of Rs 8,499 and will be exclusively available on the e-commerce website Amazon. It will ship in Charcoal Black and Sheer Gold colour options.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 backed by 2GB of RAM. It runs on ZenUI 3.0 skin wrapped under Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The device boasts a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, while there is a 5MP front facing camera also on board. It offers 16GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The handset draws power from a 3000mAh battery.
