Leaked images of iPhone 8 surface online

As per the images, front panel of the alleged iPhone 8 does not sport a cut-out for the Home Button.

Leaks and speculations regarding the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 have been around for months now. Individual parts of the heavily-speculated device are cropping up for a change. It’s interesting to note how these images have emerged right about the same time as when mass production of the iPhone 8 has reportedly begun. The latest leaked image reveals the front and back panel of the upcoming iPhone 8 device. As seen in the image, the iPhone 8 sports a camera ring at the back accompanied by savvy metal frame around the same.

The leaked image — which was posted by Reddit user Kamikasky — showcases the design iterations initiated by Apple in its upcoming iPhone 8 device. The user claims that he got hold of these images from an industry source that is in touch with the Chinese manufacturers directly.

Coming back to the images, the leaked image suggests that the iPhone 8 might come packed with a glass back with the Apple logo and the vertical dual camera setup. Contrary to the previously rumoured reports, one can’t see a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The camera ring on the back shows two sensors, with flash sitting between the two.

More importantly, the front panel of the alleged iPhone 8 does not sport a cut-out for the Home Button. This further cements the rumours that indicated that the iPhone 8 will come with fingerprint sensor embedded into the display.
