Xiaomi is all set for Black Shark in Europe

The smartphone is touted to be the world's first liquid cooling handset with temperature reductions of 8 degrees Celsius.

Xiaomi's Black Shark gaming smartphone, which was launched in China earlier this year, is now all set to make its way to the European market on November 16, according to a report by The Verge. The smartphone is touted to be the world's first liquid cooling handset with temperature reductions of 8 degrees Celsius.

Under the hood, the gaming smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 845 chipset aided by 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, and with an Adreno 630 GPU. The device comes loaded with a stock Android interface and runs on Android Oreo. There is a Shark Space mode, that will help serve better performance and block notifications and calls on a temporary basis.

The handset features a 5.99-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is kept alive by a large 4000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. On the photography front, there is a dual rear camera setup, comprising of a 12MP primary camera and a 20MP secondary sensor along with an f/1.8 aperture. Upfront, there is a 20MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The gaming smartphone features Bluetooth v4.0, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GLONASS, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity.

As of now, there is no official word on the pricing details of the gaming handset and its global release yet, but the Black Shark retails at a price of CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 31,400) for the 6GB/64GB configuration and CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 36,600) for the 8GB RAM/128GB configuration in China.
