Huawei's fast charging is better than Apple iPhone X

The charging power may sum up to 40W which can juice up the device in around 30 minutes.

The battery backup of smartphones is always a major concern for users as they lose the juice pretty fast. However, since the introduction of fast charging feature, all of us have got a relief as now we are able to top it up much more quickly as we used to. While many manufacturers implemented it years ago, Apple was a late entrant as it started providing the feature in the recently launched iPhone X and iPhone 8.

Even though it got late, Apple has plans to move ahead briskly in this category as reports of it attempting to make fast charging even faster has been doing rounds. However, it seems Huawei may compete and outperform Apple in the coming days as it is reported to be working on a charging adapter which could charge the devices faster than all the competitors.

Huawei recently acquired 3C certification for one of its charging adapter which boasts of 10V and 4A recharge configuration. Going by this, the charging power may sum up to 40W which can juice up the device in around 30 minutes. The unit is developed by Astec Electronics.

Named as the Huawei Super Charge functionality, DealnTech expects it to come integrated into the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 which is speculated to debut in October this year. If Huawei brings in the technology, it will surely give it an edge over its rivals.

Dash charing and Super VOOC are two of the leading technologies in the segment among which the latter is owned by OPPO. What is claimed to charge a 3400 mAh battery in just 35 minutes is the feature which has been incorporated in the recently launched OPPO Find X.
