LG V30+ gets updated with AI improvements
Late last year LG announced the V30+ handset in India and now, with a software update, the handset now gets the ThinQ AI improvements. Through LG’s official Twitter page, the brand has now announced that LG V30+ handsets become V30 ThinQ with features such as an AI camera.
Those who are waiting on an update can now download and install Android 8.0 Oreo and will get all the software-related goodies that made its way with the V30S ThinQ at MWC 2018.
As per a report by GSMArena, once the new software is installed, the V30+ will turn into a V30 ThinQ with AI Camera. Also, there will be the ThinQ branding in the user interface.
With AI camera, LG V30+ owners will get Visual AI stuff baked into the camera such as AI CAM, QLens and Bright Mode. There is also Voice AI that makes use of the Google Assistant that allows a user to run apps and execute various functions using just voice commands.
Users should be able to receive these features via an over-the-air update by checking it manually in the system settings. The update features the build number OPRR1.170623.026 and software version V20b-IND-XX. It reportedly also contains the June security patch.
If you do not see the update, you can head on over to an LG store and an employee will update your V30+.
