Leak: OPPO Find X to feature a new notch display

The leaked images reveal full glass display with curved edges similar to the current Galaxy line-up.

OPPO Find X is scheduled to launch on June 19 in Paris. The new smartphone from the company is likely to be unveiled at the Louvre Museum. Although the reason for the ‘X’ naming is yet to be known, there are new teasers and leaks surfacing online that showcase other features and specifications of the smartphone.

According to GSMArena, a new tweet has revealed the supposedly OPPO X’s front display along with the screenshot showcasing the system information. The images reveal full glass display with curved edges similar to the current Galaxy line-up, which supposedly confirm rumours of OPPO buying Samsung’s Infinity Display OLED panels.

The screenshot also showcases 256GB of storage and running on Android 9.0-based ColorOS 5.1. But this seems sketchy because Android 9.0 or Android P wouldn’t be available till fall i.e post new Google phones’ launch. As mentioned earlier, the full black display hints a Blue LED notification light at the bottom, which certainly feels unique when compared to other standard notification LED notification lights.

The spree of leaks hasn’t stopped yet; another new tweet also hints the new notch design on the top of the OPPO Find X. The teaser reveals a bezel-less display with seemingly curved edges screen mounted in a metal frame. The video also indicates a graphical design which might be hinting a newly shaped notch that resembles a front-facing camera.

Who knows this might be OPPO’s new take on the already existing notched display design element.
