The Surface Go, Microsoft’s smallest, most portable and affordable Surface device yet, is now available for pre-order in India exclusively with Flipkart starting from 12:01pm on December 15, 2018. Weighing at just 1.15 pounds and 8.3mm thin, the 10-inch, Surface Go offers laptop performance and tablet portability for individuals seeking a versatile form factor. The Surface Go addresses what people wanted from a smaller device – lightweight, productive and accessible.

Surface Go brings to consumers: a productive 2-in-1 device that supports inking with the Surface Pen  with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity; a 3:2 high-resolution PixelSense custom calibrated display which is designed to render the pages of most school textbooks; a built-in with full friction hinge that extends to 165 degrees helps you stay in your flow from tablet to studio mode, and support for type and mouse input with our Signature Type Cover.

 

Featuring the 7th Generation an Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y, the Surface Go features a fanless design and offers up to 9 hours of battery life , which brings users from their work desks to their couches – all on a single charge. Surface Go also has the ports consumers need, including Surface Connect for charging and docking; USB-C 3.1 for data, video, and charging; a headphone jack; and a MicroSD card reader for storage expansion. For users who require connectivity via video calls, the Surface Go features a 5.0-megapixel HD camera and rear auto-focus 8.0-megapixel HD camera, along with dual microphones to help make crisp, clear video calls via Skype.

 

Commercial customers can opt for Windows 10 Pro which brings business security features to protect devices and infrastructure from modern threats. Users can benefit from Windows Autopilot, whereby the Surface Go can be unboxed and configured from the cloud. It delivers a better user experience with personalisation with fewer steps to set up, without any IT involvement.

The Surface Go with an Intel 4415Y, 64GB eMMC, 4GB RAM/ Wi-Fi is available for Rs 38,599 while the Surface Go with Intel 4415Y, 128GB SSD, 8GB RAM/ Wi-Fi costs Rs 50,999. The Surface Go Type Cover in Black costs Rs 8,699 while the Signature Type Cover costs Rs 11,799.
