Epic Games has included more devices for supporting Fortnite Beta on Android.

Up until now, Tencent Games’ PUBG MOBILE has had an easy run on Android for being the only Battle Royale-genre game ported from consoles, which helped it garner millions of downloads. However, the more popular Fortnite has been announced on Android and is presently in its beta stages before the game’s stable build is made official later in the year. However, Fortnite is presently limited to flagship-class devices from certain manufacturers. Epic Games is slowly adding more device compatibility for the game and an updated list has been out now.

The new list includes the previously supported devices from renowned manufacturers, but now includes some additional devices that can support the beta version of Fortnite.  If you are willing to try out the game on your device, you should check out the list for device compatibility.

Fortnite for Android supported devices:

  • Google: Pixel / Pixel XL, Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL
  • ASUS: ROG Phone, Zenfone 4 Pro, 5Z, V
  • Essential PH-1
  • Huawei: Honor 10, Honor Play, Mate 10 / Pro, Mate RS, Nova 3, P20 / Pro, V10
  • LG: G5, G6, G7 ThinQ, V20, V30 / V30+
  • Nokia 8
  • OnePlus: 5/5T, 6
  • Razer Phone
  • Xiaomi: Blackshark, Mi 5/5S/5S Plus, 6/6 Plus, Mi 8/8 Explorer/8SE, Mi MIX, Mi MIX 2, Mi MIX 2S, Mi Note 2
  • ZTE: Axon 7/7s, Axon M, Nubia/Z17/Z17s, Nubia Z11

The list is still full of smartphones that have been in the flagship category since the last few years. Mostly, all Android smartphone that is powered with at least a Snapdragon 820 and above will be able to support Fortnite for now. However, it is expected that Epic Games will extend the support to midrange devices in the future, like Tencent's PUBG MOBILE.

Do note that users will need to register for the beta version from Epic Games’ website, following which they will need to download the installer for APK file. As for Samsung owners, the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge, Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S9/S9 Plus, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy Tab S3 and Galaxy Tab S4 already have access to Fortnite Beta, without registrations.
