Motorola Moto 1s launched in China

The device runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, aided with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone — Moto 1s in China. The handset comes in two colour variants — Victoria Blue and Charlotte Powder.

The Moto 1s features a 5.7-inch full HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, protected by 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo and is topped with company’s ZUI 3.5 skin. At its heart, the device runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 450 chipset, aided with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 128GB.

The Moto 1s is equipped with a dual-rear camera setup — One with a 12MP sensor along with a f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, and the other one with a 5MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture. The setup facilitates features such as black and white mode, time-lapse video, background blur, background replacement, spot colour mode among others. Upfront, there is a 16MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. The phone is kept alive by a 3000mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the Moto 1s include Bluetooth 4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G LTE among others. In addition, the smartphone comes with Dolby audio technology, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and P2i nano splash-proof coating for water resistance.

The Moto 1s comes with a label of CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs 15,900). As of now, it is not known whether this phone might debut in India.
