Oppo K3 to be launched today; will compete with Redmi K20 and Realme X
Among the latest trend of companies launching devices featuring in-display fingerprint sensors, AMOLED screens and pop-up front cameras, Oppo has now gotten on the train previously boarded by Realme and Xiaomi in India.
As a direct competitor to the Realme X and the Redmi K20 series which were launched earlier this week, the Oppo K3 launches on Friday July 19. The phone phone will arrive in Purple and Black gradient finishes, and will feature specifications that like the other two devices launched this week, will set the phone amongst the ‘budget flagship’ devices.
The K3 launches with ColorOS 6.0 on top of Android 9.0 pie. The phone will feature a 6.5inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, with the highest variant featuring 8GB of RAM. The phone has a 16MP primary and 2MP depth sensor on the back and a single 16MP front camera that pops out of the top edge of the phone.
Just like sub-brand’s Realme X, the K3 also comes with a 3,765mAh battery and the company’s VOOC 3.0 fast charging capabilities.
The Oppo K3 will be up for grabs on Amazon and also on Oppo’s dedicated website, where the company is taking registrations ahead of the yet-to-happen official launch.
