Sony's mysterious video teaser ahead of MWC 2018

Ahead of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Samsung is already is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus phones at the event. Amidst this, Sony has released a puzzled teaser on Twitter targeting the MWC launch date.

The company has posted a 23-second video, which suggests that Sony has been working on a curved smartphone for its new flagship this year and it might launch on 26th February at MWC 2018.

Last year, Sony has launched Xperia XZ Premium at MWC and surprised the audience. Though that phone had premium features and top specifications it was still stuck with the old design, whereas all other flagships opted out for a new design language.

However, by this new teaser, we can expect that Sony might finally shape up to the new design aesthetics and form factor of the current generation flagships or might surprise with a completely new design element.
