iPhone SE 2 could be launched in June this year
A lot of rumours and speculations about Apple iPhone SE 2 have been surfacing around the web lately. Everybody seems to be curious about the cheaper iPhone SE 2 launch and chances of the company in doing so still seems to be a speculation. A new mention on the EEC lisiting about the iPhone SE 2 has surfaced to support this rumour mill.
According to MacRumors, Apple has recently registered numerous unreleased iPhone model numbers with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), a Russian-language regulatory organisation.
Spotted by French site Consomac, the model numbers are A1920, A1921, A1984, A2097, A2098, A2099, A2101, A2103, A2104, A2105 and A2106. According to the listing, each model number is supposed to represent an Apple-branded smartphone running iOS 11.
However, do keep in mind that Apple usually tends to use different model numbers for the same iPhone model based on the country and carriers in which the iPhone is sold in. So, the filing does suggest one or more new iPhones’ model numbers, but those numbers actually don't mean the number of new iPhones showing up in the market.

The listing spotted suggests that iPhone SE 2 might still be a happening since there are few newer model numbers, which indicates this possibility.
Apple has initially released the iPhone SE in March 2016, which is actually overdue for a refresh. Henceforth, we can expect a new revamped iPhone SE 2 later this year, most likely at WWDC slated on June 4.
