Huawei's own 'budget flagship' with pop-up camera revealed

The Huawei Y9 Prime is set to launch in the country within a month and will compete with the other pop-up camera bearing budget flagships'.

Just two days ago Huawei leaks had suggested that the brand was going to launch a new device in India featuring a pop up selfie camera. Now we have more the details on the same, and it is revealed that Huawei will launch two devices, the Huawei P Smart Z and the Huawei Y9 Prime.

The Huawei Y9 Prime is set to launch in the country within a month and will compete with current plethora of pop up camera bearing ‘budget flagships’. The device is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000, which will put it up right with the Redmi K20 Pro, the Realme X and the Oppo K3.

The confirmation of the launch was given by the Amazon mobile app, which displays the device with a coming soon tag, but no official launch date as of yet.

Specifications

The Y9 Prime will run on the Huawei Kirin 710F 12nm processor with a triple camera at the back featuring a 16MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor. The front cam will be a pop-up 16MP sensor. The phone will have an LCD display panel and will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

The phone will be available in two variants that is 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB and will have USB-C connectivity.
