Smartphone maker Vivo is expected to change the norms of the smartphone industry by launching the first smartphone with a fingerprint sensor underneath the display. The company could unveil the smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Shanghai scheduled to start on June 28.

The company in a tweet said, "We are thrilled to be launching a new solution in just a few days at Shanghai #MWC2017. Let's unlock the future together!". This could mark as a big achievement for the company since smartphone giants such as Apple and Samsung are struggling to incorporate the feature in their devices.

Apple is said to implement the feature on its iPhone 8 but there are reports that the delayed shipments of the hardware might delay the launch of the device as well.
