Can the rumoured 'Soli' sensor justify the Pixel 4's huge bezel?
Recent leaks had revealed bits and pieces of the Pixel 4, and another important recent revelation was made when we got to see how the screen of the Pixel 4 would look like.

Thanks to twitter user ‘Ice Universe’ we have photos of what look like screen protectors for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. The designs of the protectors show holes for two cameras and various sensors. The bigger hole on the right side of the device is rumoured to house the Project Soli sensor.
If that is true, the Soli sensor will work as an advanced face recognition tool that will work even without any light. But if the sensor offers the other benefits of Google’s project Soli, we can forgive the large bezel on the Pixel 4.
Hypothetically, the Soli sensor is capable of reading RADAR-like signals offering real-time tracking of hand gestures without even touching the screen.
This is what the technology will look like-
If the Pixel 4 comes with the sensor, and it can do all this, it will be a big game changer in the current smartphone scenario. The gestures will prove to be revolutionary in user interfaces for not just smartphones, but all kinds of devices, from a smartwatch to a TV.
