Create and project with Moto Mods
Motorola has pioneered the modular mobile phone. Many Moto phones today are mod-ready: they can take accessories like extra battery, a better camera or a projector. The Moto Z2 Play is the latest handset that works with these Moto Mods. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch full display, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage that can be expanded to ( no jokes!) 2 terabytes.
The selfie camera is 5MP, with wide angle lens and flash. The rear camera boasts a dual laser auto focus 12MP lens with an f/1.7 wide aperture that means sharp images even in semi darkness. It can shoot a variety of video formats: from 30 frames per second to 120fps; from 480p to 720p, to 1080p full HD to 4K Ultra HD. The battery is 3000mAh which lets you shoot for 6-7 hours.
The Moto Z2 can take all Moto Mods like the Incipio power pack to add an extra 20 hours of operation; the JBL SoundBoost 3 watts twin speakers with own battery pack; the Hasselblad camera system (Rs 22,956) which enables you to shoot with 10x optical zoom capability and a xenon flash; or InstaShare projector (Rs 19,900), that blows your 2K or 4K video to a decent 70-inch diagonal image. The last two Mods help to shoot great still and moving pictures and to project them for all the family to watch.
The basic Z2 Play costs Rs 27,999, but it is these accessories that will seriously extend the use of the phone and turn you into a movie maker.
