Integral to launch its 512GB microSD card in February
The increasing demand for storage is significant in today’s smartphones, especially in the Android flagships. All premium devices now feature 4K video recording which will definitely need a chunk of storage. Considering this demand, UK based Integral company has decided to pump up their existing microSD storage products portfolio by adding a 512GB microSD card, which happens to be the world’s first smallest 512GB microSD.
This new microSD card offers transfer speeds up to 90Mbps. It also comes under microSDHC/XC Class 10, UHS-I and Class 1 specifications and meets Video Speed Class 10 (V10) specification as well. This microSD card is also available with a USB OTG (On-The-Go) microSDHC/XC Card Reader featuring dual USB connectors, which might help to move data and media files between microSDHC/XC memory cards and your devices in a convenient way.
“Consumers have been clear in their call for increased storage, as mobile devices have become essential to many in everyday life,” commented James Danton, marketing manager, Integral Memory. “The need to provide extended memory for smartphones, tablets and a growing range of other mobile devices such as action cams and drones has been answered. As a company, we are very proud to be the first to achieve the 512GB capacity milestone in microSDXC, worldwide”.
