Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro price leaked online, base model starts at Rs 26,000
On May 28, Xiaomi will introduce the Redmi K20 Pro, which the brand has termed as Killer 2.0 and as expected, it will come with some pretty amazing specifications, chief of which is the Snapdragon 855 SoC. While the specifications have been leaking at a steady pace, the prices haven’t yet appeared; that is, until now. The handset will come in three configurations 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB.
Until recently, the RAM and storage configurations of the Redmi K20 Pro hadn’t been revealed on Weibo and with this leaking online; we get a fair idea of what the Indian pricing could be. The 6GB/164GB option will cost Yuan 2599 which is about Rs 26,000, the 6GB/128GB option costs Yuan 2,799 which translates to about Rs 28,000 and the high-end 8GB/128GB option costs Yuan 2,999 which is roughly Rs 30,000.
The Redmi K20 Pro will come with a Snapdragon 855 processor along with the above-mentioned RAM and storage configurations. There will be a triple rear camera set up on the rear with the primary sensor being a 48MP sensor with an F1.7 aperture and 1.6 microns sized pixels. The primary shooter here will be assisted by a 13MP F/2.4 lens and an 8MP F/2.4 sensor. These two shooters could be for an ultra-wide angle camera and a telephoto lens respectively.
The FHD+ 6.39-inch OLED display of the Redmi K20 will feature a 19:5:9 ratio as there will be a pop-up selfie camera on top. This front-facing shooter will have a 20MP sensor with an F2.0 aperture. The Redmi K20 will also come with a 7th generation in-display fingerprint sensor which should make unlocking the handset pretty zippy.
Apart from the speedy processor, the handset will come with 960fps slow-mo video recording and a massive 4000mAh battery which you can expect to last well over a day. The massive battery is expected to come with 27W fast charge support.
