Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 to go on sale on June 25
Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 4 smartphone will be available for purchase in India on Sunday, June 25, exclusively through the e-commerce platform Flipkart. Only two variants of the smartphone will go on sale – the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs 10,999, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage will be selling for Rs 12,999. It will be available in Gold, Matte Black and Grey colour variants.
The smartphone was launched in January for the Indian market and received an overwhelming response for the consumers. As for the specifications, the smartphone sports 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. The device runs on MIUI 8 wrapped under Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
On the photography front, the smartphone boasts a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a dual-tone LED flash. It also sports a 5MP front facing camera for selfies. The dual-SIM smartphone also offers expandable memory support up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Connectivity options on the Redmi Note 4 includes 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and Infrared. Sensors on the device includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, and proximity sensor. The handset draws power from a 4100mAh battery.
