Yu Yunique 2 unveiled at Rs 5,999 for Indian market
Micromax’s subsidiary Yu Televentures has launched the Yu Yunique 2 smartphone for the Indian market. The device is priced at Rs 5,999 and will go on sale starting July 27 exclusively on the e-commerce website Flipkart. It will be available in Champagne and Coal Black colour variants.
The latest smartphone has Truecaller integration that offers caller ID and spam protection. Other features include a 5-inch HD display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The smartphone comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera, while there is a 5MP front facing shooter for selfies. It has 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB port. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and a proximity sensor. The handset draws power from a 2500mAh battery.
