samsung to debut a gaming smartphone
Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy Note 9 and there have been several images which are leaked that leave no surprises as to what it will look like when the handset is officially announced on August 9. Besides this upcoming smartphone, a few rumours had been circulating about which suggested that the South Korean tech giants were preparing to launch a handset with a foldable display. This upcoming smartphone was dubbed the Galaxy X. Now, a new rumour has surfaced which rebuffs that previous one that states that Samsung is preparing to launch a gaming smartphone and it in fact will be called the Galaxy X.

In the past, a few manufacturers have unveiled their own gaming handsets. Razer launched the Razer Phone, Xiaomi unveiled the Black Shark, ZTE announced the Nubia Red Devil and the latest one came from Asus when it unveiled the ROG Phone. If the latest rumour is true, then it appears that Samsung is also going to throw itself into the mix with a gaming smartphone of its own.
As of now, very little information is known but it appears that Samsung could be preparing for a gaming handset and it features the moniker Galaxy X. This information has been leaked by reputable tipster @MMDDJ_ and they have a track record of delivering solid news. Besides the name of the handset and that it’s a gaming phone, not much else is known. But we can assume that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and it will come with a high refresh rate, the latter of which is necessary for a gaming smartphone.
Stay tuned to more about the Galaxy X in the future.
