What's that? New iPad Pro's mysterious feature left us pondering
The 2018 iPad Pro could be launched anytime soon and, in a recent leak creating a stir over the internet, the backside of the upcoming iPad is speculated to get a feature, nature of which is still unkown.
The mysterious element was revealed by Slashleaks. In a recent image posted by the portal, you can see the back case of the upcoming iPad but it boasts of a cut out at the bottom, which is something new. Various rumours have been making their way to us suggesting what it could possibly be, the exact conclusion couldn’t be drawn though.
Steve Hemmerstoffer, a well-known leaker, had posted a CAD representation of the new iPad on July 30. This showcased a similar kind of thing on the rear panel of the iPad. However, even this source didn’t reveal any details about it.
Well, predictions and speculations are still flowing around suggesting that this could either be a fingerprint sensor or a sort of connecter, purpose of which couldn’t be commented on. For us, a fingerprint sensor makes more sense as the company would want to have the display acquire the whole front panel. Albeit, this could only be answered after more details about the 2018 iPad come across.
