Bill Gates uses an Android with Microsoft apps
The Android vs iOS battle has been raging for a decade. Both the platforms have their own set of advantages as well as disadvantages and yet, we haven’t had a winner yet. To add spice to this long-raging debate, one interview on FOX NEWS has brought out a rather worrying discovery for Apple fans — Microsoft’s co-founder uses an Android smartphone.
Bill gates clearly stated in the interview that he uses an Android smartphone as his daily driver. He didn’t mention the make and model of the Android smartphone but an Android smartphone indeed. However, he doesn’t use his Android phone the way that most users do.
Bill Gates stated that he uses Microsoft apps on his Android smartphone. That’s not a surprise as many Android manufacturers pre-load Microsoft apps on their smartphones. And since Microsoft themselves sell Samsung’s Galaxy S8 through their stores, it is not hard to suspect that he possibly uses the S8 as his daily driver.
However, with the confidence he denied having an iPhone, it seems that the Microsoft co-founder prefers a Windows-PC like ecosystem for his work, even though Microsoft makes apps for the iOS platform.
