Samsung has been making the headlines for the last couple of weeks, given its spectacular Galaxy S8 and S8+ launch. The sale in most leading markets has already begun, and the demand sure is high.

Now, teardowns of the Samsung Galaxy S8 seem to have revealed a bizarre label on the battery, suggesting that it is not only toxic but penetration could cause bloating and eventual explosion.

DailyMail claims that the Galaxy S8’s battery sports an icon that shows a dog with a line running across. This is a clear indication that users must not let their dogs or any other pets use the device as their chew-toy. Not only could this cause your pet burns, irritation or any digestive tract damage but also may lead to ultimate combust.

The battery is reportedly non-removable, however, the right tools make it possible for users to pop it out of the device, The Verge reported. And since lithium-ion batteries have high output, they are more prone to exploding when punctured.

The Galaxy Note 7 fiasco occurred due to a similar reason. The batteries were too big for the Note 7 handset and therefore, when heated up and expanded, they combusted. This mistake cost Samsung over $5 billion and a permanent dent to their brand.
