Nokia 9 with dual camera setup spotted online

The benchmark listing reveals the codename Unknown Heart for the Nokia 9, while also revealing that it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

HMD Global’s Nokia 9 flagship smartphone has been spotted on the benchmarking website, Geekbench. The listing reveals some of the specifications of the device as well. If the listings are to be believed, the Nokia 9 will run the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor backed by 8GB of RAM.

The benchmark listing reveals the codename Unknown Heart for the Nokia 9, while also revealing that it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Despite the high end processing system and RAM, the company should make some optimisations to the device, considering how it only scored 615 points during the single-core test and 1116 during the multi-core test.

Few online reports reveal that the Nokia 9 could feature a 5.3-inch QHD display and with 557dpi and 530 nits maximum brightness. The device will have 64GB of internal storage and will be backed by 4GB of RAM. Another highlight of the smartphone will be the dual camera setup with two 13MP sensors.

Nokia is allegedly bringing the Always-On display to its flagship, similar to the one seen on Samsung’s Galaxy S8. The smartphone will also retain the 3.5mm audio jack and a home button on the front panel with an integrated fingerprint sensor.

Nokia 9 is expected to be priced around $750, which makes it rather unlikely for the device to actually come with 8GB of RAM, as the price would be quite low for such a configuration.
