Google rolls out Assistant on iOS

Apple hasn't yet confirmed about the availability of the assistant to India and other markets.

Google has begun rolling out its digital voice assistant Google Assistant app on iOS platform in handful of countries including UK, German and France. However, unlike the Android version of the app, the iOS will be limited due to restriction from Apple’s API, which will prevent the app from higher level system functions that includes replacing Siri altogether.

According to a post shared on Apple’s website, Google Assistant on iOS will allow users to make quick phone calls, send text messages, email your boss, set reminders, set calendar events, Play music, navigate places and weather information.
