Chinese replica of Samsung Galaxy S9, for half the cost
Every time a new flagship smartphone from the tech giants hits the shelves, there are manufacturers that waste no time to produce their own clones that appear almost alike as the original.
Now, a company called Vkworld has already created its own clone of the Samsung Galaxy S9 based on the speculations that are doing rounds lately.
The Vkworld S9 comes equipped with a dual camera setup on the rear panel, followed by a fingerprint sensor that is placed exactly how the Galaxy S9 is rumoured to adopt.
Samsung, however, is said to use the dual camera setup only for the bigger Galaxy S9+ variant, though that’s still unclear.
As for the specifications, the Vkworld S9 sports a .99-inch display with 2K resolution and is powered by a MediaTek Helio X30 chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and support for MicroSD card. The smartphone is made of glass all inside a metal frame and will be fuelled by a 5000mAh battery.
The Vkworld S9 is priced approximately at $300, which is substantially cheaper than the Samsung model. The device is expected to see the light of day in the spring of 2018, probably after Samsung unveil its Galaxy S9 in February.
