The leaked images illustrate Moto Z2 Play’s front panel in three color options — White/Gold, Black/Grey, and White/Silver. They also seem to be a part of the press renders and accompanied by a teaser wherein the launch date is revealed to be June 1.

The Spanish text in the ad roughly translates to “You are invited to the next launch of the Moto family,” but the upcoming smartphone will be introduced in multiple countries around the world. The images given line with previously leaked pictures revealing a physical home button on the front panel, with an embedded fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone specifications were revealed recently when the Moto Z2 Play was subjected to benchmark tests. It is slated to run on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, together with 4GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery. The battery is quite smaller that the previous Moto Z Play’s 3510mAh unit.

The display size will stay at 5.5 inches with a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. The smartphone is touted to come with 64GB of internal memory and the option to expand using a microSD card.

The screen will have a 2.5D curved glass casing with 5MP camera in the front with support for Full HD video recording, together with a 12MP camera on the back. The phone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Last year, Motorola announced the Moto Z and Moto Z Force before unveiling the Moto Z Play, but the company is following a different strategy this year.
