Pixel 3 Xl hands-on video out and this looks genuine

The camera quality of the Pixel 3 XL can reportedly give Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone XS a run for their money.

By now, smartphone enthusiasts may have gotten tired of seeing Google’s upcoming smartphone’s videos, leaks and rumours. There were even speculations that a whole lot of Pixel 3 XL was stolen and sold on black market. While we cannot comment on how many of the previous stories were true, here’s a hands-on video of the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL device which looks genuine.

The video has been uploaded by a Russian YouTuber Rozetked who not only makes us familiar with the device but also does a brief comparison with the current Pixel 2 XL. First up, the host talks about the looks of the smartphone and has the same opinion as most of us — that huge notch looks awful. However, it compensates for that at the rear where the design looks attractive and premium.

An unpleasant thing which Rozetked brings to notice is the increased rear camera bump which is more than the Pixel 2 XL and it makes the phone wobble when it’s kept on a hard surface. While that is one of the shortcomings, he goes on to say that the camera quality of the Pixel 3 XL can give Galaxy Note 9 and iPhone XS a run for their money.

One of the new features which the YouTuber has uncovered is that it might get a new vibration system similar to Apple’s Taptic Engine which is reportedly better than before. If all of this was not interesting enough, there’s also speculation about a new variant of the smartphone Ö«— Pixel Ultra. If this comes out to be true, the new version will be boasting of complete edge-to-edge display.

Google will be launching the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL on October 9.
