Burgundy Red Galaxy S8 now available
The move is aimed to freshen up the appeal of the flagship device against strong competition from iPhones during the holiday season.
Samsung has officially announced the release of a new color for their flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone. The new color is dubbed as ‘Burgundy Red’. The new color will be available first in Korea beginning on November 28, before rolling out to select markets.
Last year Samsung made a similar move by releasing Coral Blue version of flagship Galaxy S7 smartphone. The move is aimed to freshen up the appeal of the flagship device against strong competition from iPhones during the holiday season.
There is no hardware difference with the new color as the Galaxy S8 retains the same curved glass and metal body with a bezel-less design. The Galaxy S8 is also available in Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold.
