First Huawei smartphone with pop-up camera could cost Rs 15,600
2018 ushered in the year of the pop-up selfie camera and this year we find upcoming flagship handsets like the OnePlus 7 Pro feature this unique elevated front-facing camera. While no official details of the OnePlus 7 Pro have surfaced, rumours indicate that it will feature a pop-up selfie camera and in the process the first flagship from the brand to come with this feature. Hot on the heels of these rumours, leaked renders of a yet unannounced Huawei handset have surfaced, showing off the elevated camera setup.
As per a report by GSMArena, Huawei is preparing to launch a handset called the P Smart Z and it follows the trend set by vivo and OPPO as it too will come with the pop-up camera. Apart from the leaked renders, there are some specs detailed as well with the pop-up camera playing home to a 16MP selfie camera with an F/2.0 aperture. By utilizing this feature, Huawei managed to fit a full view display with minimal bezels which the brand has termed as an Ultra Fullview display.
The handset features a 6.59-inch display with an FHD+ 1080 x 2340 pixels with a pixel density of 391ppi with an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The P Smart Z is expected to come with a Kirin 710 CPU and paired with a 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. The battery found here is said to be 4000mAh battery.
The rear is said to play home to a 16MP shooter alongside a 2MP shooter and at the back, we find a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The handset is expected to come in three colour options — Midnight Black, Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue and will be priced at Euro 210 about Rs 15,600.
