Asus ZenFone 5Z with 8GB RAM goes on sale in India
Earlier this month, Asus launched the ZenFone 5Z in India, we reviewed the handset and we had termed it as an impressive flagship contender. At the time of launch, only the lower-end versions were available, but Asus said that the top of the line version would be coming soon. The wait was not long and Asus have now released the ZenFone 5Z with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage as a Flipkart exclusive for Rs 36,999.
The brand has also thrown in a number of offers with their being a no-cost EMI from Rs 4,111 per month and other EMIs from Rs 1,299 per month. One can also avail up to a Rs 15,000 exchange offer, get a complete mobile protection plan for Rs 499 and an Axis bank credit and debit card offer with a flat Rs 2,000 off. Apart from this, there is also a Jio offer where you can get Rs 2,000 cashback and up to 100GB free data on an Rs. 199 or Rs 299 plan.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with a 6.2-inch super IPS FHD+ display, dual-cameras with artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. It also features audio performance with stereo sound. It flaunts slim-bezels, and an all-screen design, with the 6.2-inch display having a 90 per cent screen-to-body ratio in an all-metal, glass-covered body.
Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform, ZenFone 5Z includes a full suite of AI-enhanced features powered by the Qualcomm’s Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE). Also, it has an intelligent dual-camera system that adapts and learns from delivering user-preferred snaps. Moreover, the Asus flagship incorporates Sony IMX363 sensor, 120° wide-angle secondary camera and AI-enhanced camera features including 16 automatic scene detection, real-time portrait effects, AI photo learning and real-time beautification.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with a starting price of Rs 29,999 for the base 6GB/64GB variant. The higher spec variant with 6GB/128GB storage is priced at Rs 32,999 while the top-end trim (8GB/256GB) is priced at Rs 36,999.
