Mass Effect Andromeda

Mass Effect Andromeda

Mass Effect gave us some of the richest and most loved characters in history and now the time has come to move on from Commander Shepard’s Space tales. As players step into a new character’s shoes for the first time to explore an entirely new world, we expect enough reminders of our past adventures and for them to be some part of the game.

Mass Effect 2 might just be one of the greatest games of all time, so the bar is certainly set high for Mass Effect Andromeda.

Horizon Zero Dawn

This PlayStation 4 exclusive is set 1,000 years into the future, in a world where humans are no longer at the top of the food chain. While we don’t know much about the backstory of what really happened, we do know it’s a dangerous world filled with mechanical, hybrid creatures. The game will capture you with its gorgeous world, almost making you forget about the constant threats you will face. It seems like an interesting action RPG — one that promises to be one of the top PlayStation exclusives of the year.

The Division

Now a lot of folks will probably ask why a Ubisoft game is on a ‘most anticipated list’ but that awesome Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has somewhat restored our faith in them and besides after that initial E3 reveal, almost two years ago how could you not be excited. The online open world shooter aims to create a DayZ-like experience where you just don’t know who you can trust.

From NPCs to other players online, shoot-on-sight might not be the friendliest option but it will definitely be the safest.

No Man’s Sky

It feels like the game has been in development for ever, and that’s not far from the truth. We saw it about two years ago and with every passing six months we’ve gotten only a bit more information. But what has us interested is the sheer number of endless possibilities of a procedurally generated world. Discover galaxies, planets with resources or get killed by toxic gas; at this point there isn’t much that the game isn’t trying to do. I just hope it doesn’t bite off more than it can chew.

Halo Wars 2

Halo Wars was an amazing RTS, and that too on consoles. It is possibly one of the most underrated games of all time limited by the very hardware it was meant for — something that should not be a problem this time around as the Xbox One is more powerful. But more importantly it’s going to be available on Windows 10 too. With great mechanics, an amazing world to dive into with Halo series’ signature soundtrack, I don’t see this one going wrong at all.
